Kids in poverty can't get a good education, because their family doesn't have enough money to go to a good school. And since they don't have a good education, they'll be less likely to get a good job, and a bad job doesn't pay well. Then they'll stay in poverty. Kids at graded, their family has enough money to go to a great school [Graded], so they'll get a good job and have a happy life.
Kids in poverty also don't have all that much food, so they don't eat as much. They don't eat enough, so they don't stay very healthy. This makes them more vulnerable to disease. Kids at Graded have enough money to have lots of foods and go to restaurants, so they stay healthy, if they eat enough of the good food. Also, as Camila puts it, 'Some kids in our condition are probably asking "What's for dinner mom?" while they are asking "Are we having dinner mom?"'
Kids at Graded are fussing over their homework, while their moms yell at them about it. Their main objective is to get their work done. The kids in poverty are probably trying to get food from stealing, hunting, or looking in garbage. Their moms are probably working as maids. They might not even have a mom
