Tiete Trip Reflection

  1. For me, the most memorable part of the Tiete Field Trip was seeing the different parts of the river because it's really cool to see the one part of the river having so much foam, and another having nothing, not even a single bottle.
  2. The Tiete Field Trip made me realize that the Tiete is not only dirty, but is also clean.
  3. The Tiete Field Trip led me to think about how the Tiete might be 95% clean, people being able to fish, ride boats, and swim. It seems impossible now, with the pollution we have now. But it will happen.
  4. Something I plan to learn more about as a result of the Tiete Field Trip are more things about the bandierantes, and ways to help the river.
  5. The Tiete Field Trip connected to my future (made making decisions about my future easier/more difficult) because it helps me see what effect humans have on nature, and makes us more environmentally conscious.
  6. One thing that could have made this activity more helpful for me is less lectures, and more activities because it's hard for me to just listen, I like to actually do things. Listening and doing nothing makes me restless, and eager to move.
  7. If I were responsible for planning this trip for students in the future, one change I would make is putting more activities because it's hard for students to listen and sit still without sudden outbursts.
  8. If I were responsible for planning this trip for students in the future, one thing I would definitely keep is the trip to the sugar cane farm because it's cool to go to the place where your sugar and caldo de cana comes from.
  9. One thing I would want my parents to know about the Tiete Field Trip is at times it was boring, I've got to admit. But all in all it was a fun trip. It was amazing to see the talent show, the people singing there, and making thier songs. I learned a lot from the trip.

Thank you for the trip!!!
