Literature Circle Four
So for half the time I was reading the book, cuz I lost mine. But once I got back, I did speak, and I'm using yellow highlight, aren't I? I'll fix that. Anyway... Once we were talking about how Khulu must've felt when she was arrested. We first said that she was terrified, because she's arrested, but then we said she must feel like a hero because she's protecting her granddaughter. We mostly agreed with the hero one. But I said that she must feel doubly scared, because she's in jail, AND if she messes up, she could endanger her granddaugter.
